Vintage Navajo Red and White Beaded Screw Back Earrings

This is a very special pair of vintage beaded earrings that I believe are Navajo. They have a gorgeous red and white color combination with a few tiny black beads as accents. Looking at the way these were constructed, they were clearly beaded by hand and hand sewn to a leather backing. I don't believe these were made for the tourist market, and there is something very poignant about the way that they were lovingly hand made.
There is some wear to the leather backing, but the earrings are otherwise in very good vintage condition with no loose threads or missing beads. The screw backs are also in good working order. They measure 2.5 cm in diameter (or around 0.98 inches).
