Vintage 1940s Navajo Turquoise Triangle Screw Back Earrings

These earrings are a beautiful example of early Navajo turquoise and silver work! They are screw back earrings, and each screw back is marked "STERLING". All of the screw mechanisms are smooth and in excellent working order. Overall, a stunning little pair.

The earrings are in very good vintage condition; there is a tiny fleabite chip along one cabochon edge, but it is not noticeable from any distance. We have left their natural patina intact so that their new owner can choose to polish them up, or leave the mark of their age on the silver. Each earring measures 1.1 cm x 1.5 cm (or 0.43 inches by 0.59 inches). Both earrings together weigh a total of 5.85 grams.
