$150.00
This is an incredible and rare solid sterling silver antique Indian coin necklace! These coins have some truly amazing beauty and detail and are in lovely antique condition. The coins are from the Princely State of Kutch, which was an independent state in India. The large coin is a 5 Kori piece dated 1884 during the reign of Khengariji III, in the name of Victoria. The small coins are a 1 Kori piece from the same time period dated 1882, and a 2 ½ Kori coin from the reign of Pragmalji II, also in the name of Victoria, dated 1875. The blockier text on all coins is Devanagari, and the more flowy/squiggly text is Urdu. This is an amazing necklace with outstanding workmanship and detail!

There are a few condition issues - some dents and dings to the bails where the coins are attached to the necklace; however, coins themselves are in excellent condition. There are some minor twists in the chain. All components test for sterling. The original barrel clasp still works perfectly. The diameter of the largest coin is 3.2 cm (or 1.25 inches), and the chain measures 42 cm (or 16.5 inches). The necklace all told weighs 54.32 grams.
