This is an adorable vintage retro style sweet sixteen necklace! The charm has a lovely flower blossom shape and is engraved with the number "16" on a textured, brushed silver background for contrast. It's very solid and heavy, the charm dates to around the 1960s, and it's extremely well-made. It's strung on a very nice vintage sterling silver curb link chain which complements the charm nicely!
The charm is signed "Ster" with an unidentified maker's mark, and tests for sterling silver. The chain is marked "Sterling". Both pendant and charm are in excellent vintage condition. The jump ring on the charm is a newer replacement in sterling silver. The original patina on the charm and chain could be polished away, if desired. The charm measures 1.8 cm x 2.5 cm (or 0.71 inches by 0.98 inches). The chain is 45.72 cm (or about 18 inches) in length. The necklace as a whole weighs a total of 8.04 grams.
