Rare 1930s-40s Navajo Sterling Jasper Cabochon Ring Size 6

$110.00
This ring is an incredible and beautiful example of early Navajo silver work. It was clearly very carefully and skillfully made by hand, and features a "rain drop" style border and split shank design. It is amazing comfortable to wear and has a very unique presence. I've yet to identify the center stone, but I believe it's likely a type of jasper, given the color variation and sheen. This is a very special and unique ring!

There is light surface wear, both to the ring itself and the stone; however, it's otherwise in excellent vintage condition. It's not marked or signed, but tests for sterling silver. The ring is a US size 6, but fits as though it's a little smaller because of the width of the stone and the band. It weighs a total of 7.26 grams.
