This is an incredible circa 1970s Navajo cuff bracelet by the artist Murphy Platero. He is well-known for his jewelry craft and his work has been featured in many well-known galleries over the years. This is an incredible cuff and I've rarely seen it's equal. I was very fortunately to acquire this bracelet from the personal collection of a friend who had it for many years.

If you are familiar with Native American jewelry, then you know it is extremely rare to find pieces like this on the secondary market. Most are in personal collections or galleries. This piece is extremely solid, coming in at 78.11 grams of sterling silver. It is an exceptional piece, and the turquoise cabochons are excellent quality and a pleasing blue-green color.

It is stamped "Murphy Platero Sterling" on the interior of the bracelet. This piece was made for a smaller size wrist; the interior diameter is 16 cm with an addition 2.2 cm gap (6.3 inches, with a 0.87 inch gap). Please be aware of the small gap if you purchase this piece, you will need a relatively thin wrist to wear it. The bracelet is in lovely vintage condition.
