This is a gorgeous mid-century Scandinavian modernist necklace that was clearly made by a skilled jewelry artisan! This is a really lovely piece and there's something about it that really appeals to me. It appears to depict a torch or flame, and it's a very well-balanced design. This is a wonderful piece, especially for someone who loves modernist jewelry!

The pendant is hand signed "Louise Mitchell" (or something similar, it's difficult to make out), and it's also stamped "Sterling". It has a little bit of light surface wear, but is generally in excellent vintage condition. The pendant measures 3.4 cm x 3.8 cm (or 1.34 inches by 1.5 inches). The necklace is 49.53 cm (or 19.5 inches). Both necklace and pendant weigh a total of 11.28 grams.
