Laotian Akha Tribe Repousse Shell Dangle Earrings in Sterling Silver

This is a really unusual pair of earrings that I found in Laos! These were handmade by the Akha tribal, a small ethnic group in northern Laos. These are a very special pair of earrings - I was only able to find one made in this shell motif! These were clearly made by a skilled artisan and have a very unique design!
The earrings are handcrafted and unmarked, but test for sterling silver. They are in excellent vintage condition. They measure 1.5 cm x 2.3 cm (0.59 x 0.91 inches), and weigh 4.89 grams.
