Japanese Gold and Purple Artisan Made Enamel Brooch/Pendant

This is a beautiful artisan piece that I discovered in Japan! Based on the style, I would date it to circa 1985. The colors in this piece are absolutely lovely - a blend of lavender, purple, and gold! The organic design reminds me of clouds and a sunset. This piece is also convertible, so you can wear it as a pendant or as a brooch!

The pendant measures 4.6 cm x 4.7 cm. The enamel work is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks. The base metal appears to be copper. Both the pin stem and bail have been epoxied to the back of the piece.
