This is a lovely and rare pair of earrings made by the renowned silver smith Carl Poul Petersen, a student of Georg Jensen. These earrings were crafted by him, likely in the 1950s. Each earring features an imaginative leaf or fern motif design. It's very obvious to see why Petersen was considered a master of his craft and the influences from his time working under Georg Jensen. These earrings are a beautiful example of incredible mid century craftsmanship and design!

The earrings are stamped "Sterling", along with Petersen's distinctive maker's mark. The screw backs are in good working order, and they are also marked "Sterling" with another small hallmark. The earrings measure 1.6 cm x 2.7 cm (or 0.63 inches x 1.06 inches) and weigh a total of 6.94 grams.
