This is a very unique pendant and something that I've never seen before! This devil's head motif is one of the more rare Victorian era designs, but it's unique to find it adorning a bead. During Victorian times, the devil's head was thought to ward off evil. This is such a unique piece and would make an incredible layering necklace!

The bead is unmarked and unsigned, but tests for sterling silver. There is some light surface wear and darker patina but it is otherwise in good antique condition. The bead measures 1.2 cm x 1.7 cm (or 0.47 inches by 0.67 inches). The chain is 47 cm (or 18.5 inches). The necklace as a whole weighs a total of 7.39 grams.
