This is a gorgeous and unusual orange sapphire Edwardian era ring! The ring has a lot of really beautiful details - a lovely delicate Edwardian setting with dainty engraving on the shoulders of the ring, and the sapphire itself is a wonderful soft peachy orange color. This would be a beautiful piece for special occasions!
The ring is signed with a maker's mark that looks like a flag, along with the hallmark "750" in a diamond shaped stamp, along with a "K18" mark inside the inner band. The gemstone tests in the sapphire range on my presidium. The center stone measures 1 cm x 1.6 cm (or around 0.39 inches by 0.63 inches). The ring is a US size 6.25, and weighs a total of 3.89 grams.
