This is one of the most incredible antique necklaces I've seen in a long time! It's a stunning Chinese Qing dynasty era piece with gorgeous details. It has lovely antique carved carnelian charms in the shape of leaves and flowers and beautiful repousse hollow pendants in a peach design, which symbolize springtime and longevity. All of the elements of this necklace were painstakingly made by hand, including the delicate chain and clasp!
The necklace is unmarked and it is in reasonable vintage condition. There are some small chips along the edges of the carnelian stones and some of the repousse pendants have small splits. It measures 45.7 cm in length (or 18 inches). The larges pendant measures 2.8 cm x 3.4 cm (or 1.1 inches by 1.38 inches). In total, it weighs 40.7 grams.
