This is an incredible and unusual pair of Modernist designer earrings! Based on the style, I believe these date to circa 1960. They were clearly constructed by hand by a talented silversmith and the result is simply stunning! Luckily, these are clip-ons, otherwise I think they would be too heavy to wear. These definitely make an amazing statement!
A note on condition - there is one dent on the top of each earring, however, both of the earring clip backs are in good working order. They are marked "STU 925", along with a hallmark of a duck and a hallmark depicting weights and measures, which is a common European silver hallmark. I haven't been able to find the maker. The earrings measure 4 cm x 9 cm (or 1.57 inches x 3.54 inches), and weigh a total of 49.48 grams.
