This is an outstanding Modernist, leaning towards Brutalist style pearl necklace! The pendant is made in a beautiful organic, sweeping design, highlighted by three tiny cultured pearls. The pendant is a attached to a unique cobra link chain. All parts of the necklace are sterling silver. This would make for an interesting statement piece!
The pendant is artisan made and marked STEN with a triangle shaped maker's mark that I haven't been able to identify. It tests for sterling silver; however, the chain is premade and was attached to the pendant piece after the fact, and is marked "Italy 295". The pendant measures 3.2 cm x 7.2 cm (or 1.26 inches x 2.83 inches) and the necklace is 39.4 cm (or 15.5 inches) in length. It weighs a total of 18.4 grams.
